

Brodie lewis
Brodie is a full time pageantry arts professional with over 15 years of experience as a designer, educator, and performer.
DESIGNER
Brodie is an active visual designer for groups across the United States, including marching bands and indoor ensembles of all types (guard, percussion, and winds). His design career began in 2015 as a choreographer and co-drill writer for the WGI A class champions, Lake Orion Percussion. Since then, Brodie has had the distinct pleasure of designing for many award-winning ensembles, including multiple state champions and BOA regional champions. Brodie currently works with Mitch Rogers as a drill design partner and mentor.

EDUCATOR

Brodie currently serves as the visual caption head and choreographer for the Rockford HS Marching Band. Since beginning this position in 2016, the band has earned 6 consecutive MCBA state championships and 3 outstanding visual awards. Rockford's marching band also made appearances at the 2017 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade and the 2023 Rose Parade.
Brodie is also an active clinician for Marching Health, the global leader in marching arts health and wellness. Through Marching Health, Brodie has instructed hundreds of students nation-wide, delivering curriculum both in-person and virtually.
PERFORMER
Brodie's marching career began playing mellophone in the Linden HS marching band. He quickly fell in love with the activity, and in 2009, he joined the Glassmen Drum and Bugle Corps, where he continued performing through 2011. Brodie then joined the Blue Devils in 2012, earning his first DCI championship and "Rookie of the Year." After taking the 2013 season off, he continued with the Blue Devils in 2014, earning a second championship and setting the DCI record high score. As an age-out in 2015, Brodie earned his third championship while serving as the horn sergeant.
